On the outskirts of Ahmedabad near the Lapkaman canals, the HHH Weekend Home uses a minimal-brutalist palette—ash-toned concrete bands, deep reveals, timber rails, and copper-tinted frames—to make a calm, low silhouette in a walled garden. The massing is compact and legible; slabs project to cast hard shade and carve long horizontal lines. Water and planting bracket the house—a lap pool on one edge, a broad lawn on the other—so the building works as a tempered threshold between them.
The ground floor collects living, dining, and two bedrooms around full-height sliders that pocket away to perform as an open pavilion to the garden and deck. A tight service spine keeps the social space clean, while the central stair acts as the plan’s hinge.
